How to play
- To win: lay down all 9 of your cards before everyone else.
- The deck: 40-card Spanish deck (1 to 7, jack, knight and king) in coins, cups, swords and clubs.
- What you lay down: sets (three or four of the same number) and runs (three or more in a row of the same suit). The 7 connects with the jack; the king does not connect with the 1.
- To start: you get 8 cards and everyone passes one to the player on their right.
- Viejos: three aces, three kings or a 1-2-3 run. Every time one is laid down, everyone adds another ante to the pot.
- The pot: everyone antes 50 chips each hand and the winner takes it all. If nobody wins, the pot rolls over to the next hand.
- Online: 30 seconds per turn. Full instructions are inside the game (in Spanish).
